CONNECT GROUPS

God designed us for community. Whether you feel like a “people-person” or not, we all need each other. That’s why we have connect groups, to find community that has the potential to change our lives. Just like most things, you won’t know until you try. We have groups scattered all throughout our community waiting for you!

What to expect?

Expect a call or some form of connection from the group facilitator to introduce themselves to you to answer questions or concerns you may have in regarding to attending.

Want to lead a connect group?

You don’t need to have it all together to lead a Connect Group—you just have to be willing to let God use you as you take your next step.

To host a group,

  • Pray and ask God for direction on what mission focus you want to focus on and how it will impact your community, peers and family.

  • Following this process, you will need to select a time and location to meet with others to share it.

  • Then, we give you a few essential tools like first-time leader training, a directory where others can find your group, and support throughout the season.

We believe God uses connect groups to impact and change people’s lives, and as a connect group leader, you are a a vital part of that.

WHAT TYPE OF GROUPS?

We want you to meet other people while doing something which interests you. Small Groups fall within fourcategories that correspond to the mission of Oak City.
